South Cambie
With the exception of the medical facilities, South Cambie is for the most part a residential community. Single family homes as well as low rise apartment buildings dominate the landscape. A number of heritage homes can be found in the northern section of South Cambie, the most famous being the 1912 Tudor Style building that currently houses an R.C.M.P. training facility. Currently the neighborhood is going through a drastic change due to the construction of the Canada Line, a rapid transit system that will link Vancouver to its southern suburbs as well as the airport.
