Kerrisdale

Kerrisdale is a quiet affluent neighborhood on Vancouver's west side, situated between Granville St. (East) & Blenheim St. (West) and between 41st Ave. (North) & S.W. Marine Dr. (South). Single family homes mixed with few low and high rise apartments rule the area, with many of the homes existing in their original forms, ranging from English Arts and Crafts, Spanish Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival, and Beaux Art styles. A small but prosperous commercial district is located along 41st Ave which is also the public transportation link to the rest of the city.

Kerrisdale has traditionally been an upscale neighborhood, with many of Vancouver's exclusive golf courses and riding clubs in the area, and is inhabited predominantly by professionals, doctors, business people, and professors from nearby UBC. Kerrisdale is home to numerous top notch schools as well as having various parks and fields in which to enjoy the outdoors, making Kerrisdale a perfect neighborhood in which to raise a family, if you can afford it.
